Okay so I know I can get into the habit of writing journals day after day about complete and utter rubbish that floods everyone's messages, so I'm sorry! I'll try harder next time... Anyway, this journal is actually somewhat partially about my WIP...
So the good news on my WIP is that I think once I get my act together and actually finish it, it might actually turn out okay, which is pretty good seeing as I've been "out of action" for about a year now. The bad news is I haven't worked on it... But I have been planning it. In my head... Hmm... Okay I think I'll work on it this weekend and hopefully get it done. At least post what's been done so far seeing as I've been rambling on about this so called "manip"...
Oh, and tomorrow I have my TAFE Orientation Day... Slightly extremely nervous. I tend to be a bit socially awkward. Aghhhh.

I swear everyone is dying.
Anyway, Cisco, the beloved goat at my riding school, got really sick two days ago. He seemed to be recovering but he had suspected liver failure yesterday and slipped away in the night. He was the most amazing goat, so full of character. Meg (the owner of my stables) rescued him as a little baby at an auction twelve years ago after hearing the highest bidders wanted him for food. He lived a wonderful life, thinking for most of it that he was an INSIDE dog! Everyone loved him. RIP old guy. :C

So yeah, first day at TAFE today. So far so good. Didn't get too lost, although finding my first class took about five minutes. Nice bunch of people. Should be a good year.

So yesterday I worked on my WIP. For the environment detail I can't really decide what sky I want. I have two layers there at the moment, one looking more night/stormy, and the other's just stormy. I'm not really a fan of each of them however... But I figured once I'm done and blurring the background and filtering everything one colour and all that, I'll decide then.
I also finalised on a horse (I kept changing it) and worked on that a bit. I did the second coat of smudging, worked on muscle tone and outlines, and attempted an eye... One year off the job really can throw all your skills out the window, hey? I think I might need to pract
So confused.
Well, today I hate my Orientation day... I am more confused about my timetable than when I walked in. I mean first of all, I think my timetable is wrong, I'm in the right group and all, but some of the sessions aren't the same times as other people in my group. We also had a tour of the institute and the guy was like "Oh yeah, we used to give out maps but this year they haven't printed any off. Oh well, not too hard to find your way around..." Yeah that's cool, but one problem; all my classes are in different buildings on DIFFERENT STREETS. How even--?!
